Ology: A Dialogue

| Communities Foundation of Texas

Mental health through the lens of faith. A lunch and dialogue for mental health professionals and faith leaders.

From suicide among youth, to anxiety, to acts of violence, we need to open a dialogue so that we may find understanding and learn from each other how we may encourage well-being and wholeness across communities and faith groups. The Center is gathering experts and leaders from the faith and mental health communities to talk about the crucial, timely issue of mental health and how it is viewed and addressed across faiths.

Our expert panel will:

  • Highlight the diverse religious traditions that make up our community
  • Explore mental health needs and barriers to help across different faith traditions
  • Discuss the increased violence against places of worship
  • Share how to encourage healthy and whole communities
