A national leader among Christian psychologists, also a prolific author and ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, teaches the ways that technological metaphors have shaped our approach to mind and counsel. He presents and limits the ways that extended cognition, aided by the technology at our fingertips, informs both psychotherapy and socio-religious life.

What you’ll learn:

1. Participants will be able to name and describe the 4 “Es” of cognition
2. Participants will be able to describe 2 ways in which the 4 “Es” may be applied to the practice of psychotherapy.
3. Participants will be able to describe two interventions using insights from 4 “E” cognition.
