Philosophy

I believe that all clients have the capacity for change when they have a safe space to be honest and work through their struggles. My role as the counselor is to actively listen, work alongside the client to determine their strengths and goals, and to promote their overall well-being.

Austin has experience working with children as he served as a Children’s Ministry Intern at his church for three years. He also mentored college freshmen throughout his collegiate years, helping them through the uncertainties of freshmen year whether they be academic, personal, relational, or spiritual.

Austin earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from DBU as well.

Austin loves to play pickleball, spikeball, and frisbee. He also enjoys playing board games and watching movies with friends. Finally, Austin enjoys going on dates with his fiancée and attending church on Sundays.

In addition to seeing clients at our Central Office, Austin sees clients at community partner locations as part of our PACT program. For more information about our PACT Program and community partners, please click HERE.
