Philosophy

I assist individuals and couples in working through life's challenges. I especially enjoy working with clients during times of life transitions (college/career/marriage/retirement). I strive to provide a caring and compassionate space where it is possible to heal, learn and grow. My desire is to help you improve your relationships with family, spouse, and community. I am passionate about self determination, the power of resilience and growth of inner strength.

Barbara has worked in residential, hospital and community settings with individuals, couples and families in area of mental health, chronic/terminal illness, grief/loss and chemical dependency. During her 19 years at The Center she has enjoyed providing counseling for individuals, couples and families.
