Philosophy

I believe everyone holds the capacity for meaningful growth and healing when provided with a safe and supportive environment. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative partnership built on trust, empathy, and respect. My approach is integrative, allowing the flexibility to honor each client’s unique experience, perspective, and strengths. My ultimate goal is to empower clients to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Courtney received her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas in Austin, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling at the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution from Southern Methodist University and is trained in Smart Stepfamily Therapy.
Courtney enjoys leading church small groups for young adults, providing mentorship and support during a formative life stage. She also directed a local service volunteer group for eight years, fostering connection and community engagement among high school students. These experiences serve to deepen her passion for helping others grow in meaningful connection, resilience, and development of life skills.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys reading, pickleball, and crossword puzzles. Her weekends are spent catching up with friends and family and attending church.
