Philosophy
As a counselor, my goal is to help people achieve Maya Angelou’s definition of success, which is: “To not merely survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style”. To do this, providing you with a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space to experience anger, sadness, fear – or whatever it is that you are going through is of the upmost importance. When you have that, change can begin; you develop insight, healthy coping skills, and set in motion true healing.
