Philosophy

Each person’s story is different. While the challenges a person faces are unique to them, so are their natural gifts and abilities. I believe that there is strength and resiliency in everyone, my goal is to connect with you on your personal journey to provide support and empowerment. Together, we will work together to identify problems, set goals, and create strategies to work toward those goals. In time, you will be equipped with the set of coping skills needed to overcome life’s hardships and reach your full potential.

Ellie received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin and is working toward her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas Dallas. Her formal education, both undergraduate and graduate, has prepared her to work with children, adolescents, families, groups, and adults. In addition to her education, Ellie has been shaped by her community at Park Cities Presbyterian Church, volunteer work at West Dallas Community School, and her current role as a substitute teacher at Highland Park Presbyterian Day School.

In her free time, Ellie enjoys backpacking in Colorado, cooking new recipes, listening to podcasts, and walking with her bernedoodle puppy, Millie.
