Philosophy
By fostering a collaborative and respectful relationship, I aim to help clients unlock their potential and achieve meaningful change, supported by their faith. I am committed to creating a therapeutic environment that embodies unconditional positive regard, empathy, and authenticity, reflecting the compassionate and loving nature of my faith. I believe that by offering a non-judgmental and supportive space, clients can explore their thoughts and feelings freely, leading to greater self-awareness and spiritual growth. My role as a counselor is to facilitate this process by actively listening, validating experiences, and empowering clients to discover their own solutions and paths to well-being, in alignment with their faith and values.
In my practice, I prioritize the client’s perspective and strive to understand their unique experiences and spiritual beliefs. I respect the autonomy of each individual and trust in their ability to navigate their own lives when provided with the right conditions. Ultimately, my goal is to support clients in becoming more fully themselves, embracing their strengths, and overcoming obstacles to lead fulfilling and authentic lives, guided by their spiritual convictions.
Emmanuelle has previously worked in private practice, school, clinical, and nonprofit settings. She has worked mostly with children and middle aged clients, providing individual and play therapy.
