Philosophy

I believe that God has created every person uniquely, with purpose and value. We are made to be in relationship with one another and with God. I believe that counseling is about relationship and that trust and compassion are the building blocks for healing.

Joy grew up in South America in a family dedicated to full-time ministry. After several years of working as nurse in different areas of healthcare, she realized that she had a passion for counseling and the process of emotional healing. Joy is passionate about advocacy and multicultural counseling.

Joy is involved in her church and enjoys spending time with friends and family. In her free time, Joy likes hiking, photography, and being outside in nature.
