Philosophy
My goal for therapy is to create a warm and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel encouraged to gain awareness of yourself. I enjoy working creatively to promote self-growth, self-acceptance, and develop meaningful relationships. My hope is that you will feel valued, seen, and encouraged as we navigate through life’s challenges.
Kate is a Licensed Professional
counselor who received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling
from the University of North Texas. She has experience counseling adolescents
and adults in non-profit and university settings. She also has experience
working at the inpatient and partial hospitalization programming providing
counseling for eating disorder treatment.
In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her dogs, starting a new creative project, or spending time with family and friends.
