There are times in everyone’s life when problems seem overwhelming, so I aim to develop a positive, therapeutic relationship with clients. I can then work with each individual and family to explore the issues and find solutions for their needs. My goal is for clients to achieve feeling personal empowerment, knowledge, skills, and confidence to face what life presents next.

I graduated from Houston Baptist University in 2007 with my Master's Degree in Psychology. Since that time, I have worked in multidisciplinary clinics and private practice settings. My clinical focus has always been on individual and family therapy for all ages, with targeted skill development in counseling for children. This additional training and focus on children led me to receive my certification as a Registered Play Therapist. I am so blessed to be in this field of work, and I continue to feel honored when clients allow me to enter their private lives and walk with them on their journey.

In addition to being a Licensed, Professional Counselor, I am a proud mother of two- a son in first grade and a daughter in kindergarten. Being a mother, and facing the many challenges that come with this role, I have grown in joy, as a person, and as a child counselor. I use these experiences to empathize and share with others to help them along the way. God and family are the most important areas of my life and I am truly thankful for them each and every day!
