Dr. Matt Hoard, Post Doctoral Psychology Fellow
Resident
Philosophy
I came to the profession of clinical psychology primarily out of a deep-rooted love of people and the desire to apply my emotional, relational, and intellectual abilities toward collaborating with others to help them live healthier, happier, and more meaningful lives.
Dr. Hoard has experience working in the treatment of children, teens, adults and families. He has had extensive experience in therapy and assessment through a variety of settings, including medical centers, school settings, and private practice. He has worked with issues including depression, anxiety, spirituality, chronic pain, trauma, emotional regulation, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, he has taught psychology courses at the college level.
Matt enjoys living in the Dallas area and in his limited free time enjoys spending time with friends, family, and being active and outdoors as much as possible.
