Philosophy

I believe every person is unique and holds wonderful potential. Yet, life includes challenges that impact us and our lives meaningfully. Those impacts show up in our relationships, our emotions, our thoughts, our bodies, our souls, and our reactions within our environment. I am honored to walk alongside my clients in their journey processing their stories and relationships with the goal of finding self-awareness and healing. I seek to provide you with a space where we can sit together with the difficulties, and celebrate the joys of life. My approach is based on curiosity and respect as we talk about who you are, the stories that have brought you to where you are today, and what you aspire to in the future.

Paola received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans and a Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy from William Carey University. Additionally, she has completed Graduate-level training in Family, Marriage, and Couples Counseling. Paola has worked as a Music Therapist with individuals throughout the lifespan focusing on experiences of grief, trauma, hospice, in addition to emotional, psychiatric, and developmental concerns. As a counselor, Paola has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, caregivers, and older adults exploring various aspects of life including life transitions, relationships, health concerns, and grief.
