I believe we are created by a good and loving God to have meaning and purpose in life. I believe all lives are sacred and everyone has an innate need for love, security and significance. We also have the ability to choose and sometimes our choices can be made out of a faulty belief system that has been reinforced by life's circumstances, experiences and genetics which can effect one's view of God, self, others and their world.
My goal is to provide a safe and empathetic environment to help my clients move towards healing and growth by addressing one's belief system and the roots of thoughts and behaviors that are negatively affecting one's life. I work collaboratively with my clients to develop new and healthier ways of coping with life's challenges and difficulties. My desire is to be an agent of hope as I help clients identify, test, and evaluate beliefs and automatic thoughts, and see the opportunity for changing those that are maladaptive. This allows clients to move forward viewing and processing future expectations with the new ways of thinking as it corresponds with the fulfilling the meaning of their own life.
