Philosophy

Life provides us the opportunity to learn, teach, and grow as human beings. The clients that I have offered support and guidance to in the past, have made the decision that they are looking to improve their overall wellness (mind, body, and spirit) and/or make changes in their life. In my experience as a counselor, I have been able to be a witness to the changes, growth, and healing that takes place when people are given the opportunity to work through some of their challenges and difficulties.

During our work together, there may be times when it is helpful to reflect and address past memories/experiences that influence our thoughts and feelings about ourselves, others, and the world. My hope is that by being able to work with you during this time, you will give yourself the chance to live and experience life in the present, and with the future in mind, while utilizing information and reason. I would like to offer hope, information, support, guidance, and the space for you to obtain what you are looking for from the counseling experience. It would be my honor and privilege to work with you in continuing your journey of learning, growing, and living.

Rosa began her counseling career working with survivors of domestic violence. She provided individual and group counseling. Rosa has had the opportunity to work in a general counseling agency with individuals, couples, and families. Rosa has also worked in the school setting providing support to school staff, parents, and counseling to students.
