Philosophy

As a counselor, my goal is to partner with clients and provide a safe space where individuals feel seen, heard and valued. It is an honor and privilege to sit with others in their pain and help facilitate growth. We do this by processing old wounds, reframing unhealthy beliefs, working through challenges, and ultimately walking out the fullness of who we are called to be. I believe that each of my clients has a valuable story to tell and that by journeying through the hard places, they may find health and healing on the other side. May you find courage and hope in knowing that this is not the end of the story!

Stefani is a Licensed Professional Counselor and received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Baylor University. She has experience counseling individuals and leading therapy and support groups in acute-inpatient and outpatient hospitals and also nonprofit and university settings. In 2015, she helped create and co-facilitate counselor-training workshops for the social services staff of Kids Alive Oasis, a Guatemalan mission organization that houses and works to restore young victims of sexual abuse.
